I'm searching for a good Rupay card for UPI transactions since I couldn't get Tata neu cards for free. I saw an offer on mycards.hdfcbank.com promising up to 3% cashpoints, but I'm not sure what that means for cashback. If anyone's using this card, could you share its pros, cons, maxlimits and your experience? Thanks!

Good one, but mostly people have under 2k rupees spends using scan and pay for day to day usage, so no cb for that... that is the issue.
Not bad VC for UPI if you are unable to secure a LTF neucard... but 1 cashpoint=25p, so really low rewards...
Other banks are also issuing virtual rupay CC for UPI if having existing relationship or CC, do you have other bank cards now?
You can also try applying for axis kiwi CC for UPI...
* I saw a banner on this page offering 1500 amazon voucher on HDFC UPI card application, also first year is free, take the card and voucher and one can cancel before 2nd year, also apply for other options...
Kiwi/Kwik card is getting rejected in the app not sure of the reason even since I am able to get airtel card recently
Will apply only if it is LTF
I do have HDFC and ICICI accounts
Ccs: HDFC regalia, ICICI platinum, apay, coral rupay, axis Flipkart Ltf, axis airtel, Sbi cashback
@dealkart There are some threads here on icici rupay virtual/physical CC being offered for free to existing clients over netbanking/app, check those threads, mostly by @abhishek012
** You have coral rupay and can be used for UPI, but almost nil rewards!
I already have coral rupay. UPI rewards are mostly 0.125% which is pathetic
New thing. What will be the reward rate for regalia rupay UPI?
In my experience and from reading on DD, the merchants who accept RuPay on UPI also accept any and all CCs (VISA, Mastercard, RuPay) via Tap2Pay/dip. Your HDFC Regalia might give you better rewards there. So, there is no great benefit to getting a RuPay on UPI CC. You already have ICICI Coral RuPay just in case. I tried to get an HDFC TataNeu Infinity card too but I was getting only FYF instead of LTF. Turned out to be a case of sour grapes for me 😅
Note that if your intention to get a RuPay on UPI CC to do small transactions (tea/coffee, snacks, public transport tickets etc) then UPI Lite is an absolute godsend.
No points redemption facility available so far. The card doesn't show up on hdfc credit cards netbanking portal , where I redeem points for my millennia cc. Unless you fill up point redemption and send it via post
I got rejected for this card today despite having DCB, any clue why?
