Need some clarification for applying to Federal CC.

I’m considering applying for an Federal credit card. I already have credit cards from Onecard, Fi, and Jupiter, backed by Federal but none of them offer the same benefits as the Federal credit card.

Is there anything I should keep in mind when applying? I read somewhere that Federal doesn’t provide additional cards if you already have Fi or Jupiter. I don’t want to risk a CIBIL hit if my application is rejected.

Thanks in advance.

Fi and Jupiter are debit cards - most people have those. Yes I know, Fi and Jupiter have also launched Federal Bank CCs but most don't have those since those are paid. Federal Bank allows their core CC if you have a Fi or Jupiter DC.

OneCard by Fed bank users are unfortunately out of luck since it is a true credit card. Similarly if you've got Scapia, Fi CC or Jupiter Edge CC you can't get Federal core CC. If you've got Jupiter RuPay CC by CSB, you can get a Federal core CC.

Another strict rule of Federal Bank's approval/rejection criteria is you must have very less credit enquiries in the last 6 months before you apply. They decline if you look as credit hungry to them with too many enquiries in too short a period.

Federal Bank only allows one card per customer even though I have seen some people getting 2 cards ,one cobranded and the other a core card.

I think the chances of approval will be low and who knows may be they will start approving second cards soon to everyone on limit sharing basis like axis icici.

I've contacted customer support a few months ago, and they said that they don't allow more than one card, direct or co branded, at the moment.

In milkbaaket or sometimes in swiggy, just wanted to have a card for it. Federal CC are LTF as well, hence thinking to opt one.

Applied for scapia card. Instant rejected. Chatted with federal Bank on Twitter. They said since I hold OneCard, they won't allow scapia card.
