I can’t seem to settle on a product because all products have horrible reviews.

Apple one will have volume issues when used with android.
On windows it works fine.

Yes for the price audio quality is excellent although the EU variant sold in India is capped at 0.5V RMS vs 1V RMS in the US model. Any personal experience? I am concerned about it’s durability as it looks so fragile.

P.S. Low output in Android can reportedly be mitigated to a large extent by tweaking some stuff with root access. For non-root users apparently paid (and a bit expensive at that) apps like USB Audio Player Pro and Neutron MP are seemingly as beneficial to unlock it’s full output. I own the former and anyways all my Android devices are rooted so am thinking of buying it.

Reportedly the Samsung one is much worse in Windows. And even in Android it’s audio quality is lower while output isn’t as underwhelming as Apple. So I  am more inclined towards the Apple one as use in my Windows laptop is a major use case. What about it’s durability?

Too expensive! My old Creative Sound blaster X-Fi doesn’t work at it’s full potential in Windows 10 unfortunately.

I had purchased the Apple adaptor from Maple store for Rs 810. While it's sound quality was decent it was no better than the on-board Realtek chip (ALC255) in my laptop which was a tad disappointing. No issues in Android as I had purchased USB Audio Player Pro years back. Besides I could go with a solution requiring root as well.
