Need Total security /antivirus for laptop.

I Use Quick Heal Internet Security for the Past 2.5 Years took the Plan @ 1100/- from Online Website. The Anti-Virus is Good in all Aspects! What I Like about Quick Heal is their Quality Software, Services and Daily Virus Updates in their Lab. McAfee and Bitdefender and also Norton are not much popular in India for Internet uses.

In Amazon and Flipkart Showing 2000-2500/— for 3 Years at that time. Now, Currently, It is showing 1100-1300Rs on Amazon 1600 on Flipkart but try other special computer websites like Buyantiviruskeys, LtStore, SanienTech, etc

Also, In Past have used Quick Heal Total Security, Which I think is Good but if you are taking more than 2 or 3 then, It will cost you very little.

Try Buying Longer Duration for 3 years or for more than 1 system,it will give you humongous discount.

U can check for avast, they are giving free for 3 months.

I am using kaspersky internet security since 2009… No problems faced till now…


Every antivirus company is providing 30 days trial… First try them and later buy.

Use bitdefender its very cheap in Amazon. You can get bitdefender plus for around 150/year. I am using it from 3-4 years and its awesome.
There are other versions also like bitdefender internet security and bitdefender total. It depends on the features that u need and use.

Use windows default Antivirus at free of cost, if you know how to properly handle your laptop/desktop, you don’t need to install any third-party antivirus.
For moderate risks, Default antivirus is more than enough.

^ Not a good recommendation I’m afraid. Windows defender can’t do jack sh*t against potent malware/virus. If you value your data, get a good internet security package (Antivirus+firewall). Stay away from McAfee (just pathetic) & Norton (pretty resource intensive).

ESET Internet security, very light on resources. I am using ESET for 13 years now, not a single problem. Best thing is, it runs perfectly on old computers and systems with less RAM. Can’t recommend it enough. Download a 30 day trial version and try it. Buy from Cloudtail – Amazon, on sale frequently.

Be cautious that’s all. Antiviruses are just a gimmick. If I need it sometime then I use eset cz it uses less resources. It doesn’t give you much power but good for browsing internet.

And let me tell you I was using ubuntu and had top notch antivirus at my office but still the database was hakckcked on the localhost which is like very rare.

have no one here used Net Protector ever ?
I am using it from 12 years and still thinks its the best.
