Neu Points - Is there cap on Tata Neu HDFC Rupay Card?

I have HDFC Tata Neu HDFC RuPay Card and I use for UPI transactions wherever it is accepted. It works fine. Last month, I made transactions for 1.17 Lakh (school fees, tour company etc and regular grocery).
I received exactly 500 Neu Coins. I am not sure how many Neu coins but 500 Neu Points is less than 0.5% of the total spend.
I am not sure if some spends are excluded and I looked at statement and it just tells me final new coins and not each line item of spend so I have no idea how it was calculated.
Can anyone help?

Oh..Didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I would in that case do more card transactions wherever I can instead of UPI.

If asking for UPI, 500 is the limit... POS no limit, insurance 2k/day. Don't confuse with neucoins from tataneu app neupass!

Use UPI only for small amt. For larger amount always opt for POS if available.

Yes i realize this now. Like if I was paying even 1000 Rupees at medical, I would use UPI using Rupay card so now use actual card instead.
