Following charges are to levied for wallet maintenance & loading money in wallet.
Details are as below
(A) CHARGES TO BE LEVIED ON LOADING PAYTM WALLET .∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆
(1) All transactions of loading money into wallet via Credit Card will be charged up to 2.5% (inc. of GST).
(2) All transactions of loading money into wallet using American Express, Corporate Card or Prepaid Card, will be charged up to 3% (inc. of GST).
(3)A surcharge of up to 2% will be applicable on users who have added money in their wallet using Credit, Corporate or Prepaid Card and taken it to the bank account for an amount greater than or equal to INR 5000 per month, in the current or either of the last three calendar months.
(4)Adding money to Wallet through Net Banking (other than through Paytm Payments Bank) will be charged up to 1.5% (exc. of GST).
(5) Adding money to paytm wallet via UPI is free.
(B) PAYTM WALLET MAINTENANCE CHARGES. ∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆
(1) A nominal maintenance fee will be charged to all users each quarter for maintenance of their Paytm Wallet from 1 January 2023. This fee will be waived off for users who have made at least one Wallet transaction in the last 2 years.
(2) Full KYC users will be charged a fee of INR 15 per quarter (excl. GST), while all other users will be charged INR 5 per quarter (excl. GST).

I remember there was one app called Niki.ai who used to charge convenience/platform fees
I had also used NIKI & they had also levied convenience charges on their platform ,which laid to ther downfall !!

I am glad I didn't close my Airtel Payments Bank account as it's now the only viable option western it comes to moving out the money loaded into Pockets Wallet accounts for availing cashbacks. Although the option to load money via Netbanking was removed from the app a few months ago leaving only the website which is a pain as it logs the user out after a little while.

Whole concept of Digital Gold (buying/selling) is based on the fact that the buyer or common investor never wins... now Paytm playing holi with it, let them do so!
Why is Paytm copying Googlepay everywhere ?
Paytm has even started a bogus walkthrough slideshow in its app ,just like Google pay.
One question
Like in some account it's showing 4.35 % charges as said by someone above.
So anything extra paytm is charging above that amount in this new change .
Because I already seen a friend's account where he was getting charged for 4.35% over cc load , so approx 870 rs more for 20k load money .
So , anything extra after this change in charges ?

I am not seeing any charges for loading Wallet via Netbanking. Charges if any will be displayed before the transaction is completed, right?

Perhaps. I checked loading Wallet with CC and there the extra charge is clearly displayed before proceeding any further with the transaction. Anyway moved out money from Pockets Wallet successfully.
