new credit card suggestion.

I hold the following credit cards

1. HDFC Regalia from before lockdown. Heavily Devalued now.
2. SBI prime from before lockdown. Heavily devalued and points against utility removed.
3. SBI cashback card since launch. considerably devalued but still makes a good card compared to the rest.
4. Axis Ace since launch. Heavily devalued now to the point of being useless.

I intend to cancel all cards and keep only SBI cashback for now but I will need another credit card for regular usage.

My major uses are
1. Utilities and other work bills.
2. taxes and fees
3. Insurance.

I understand that even premium cards do not give rewards for these spends but if milestone rewards are considered, that will be great.  Also, I would prefer a card where devaluations are not rampant like with the current cards that i hold.

I was considering
American Express Platinum travel
Axis Atlas
Axis Vistara or SBI Vistara Prime
any premium Indusind credit card thats worth?

Any suggestions for or against cards or a new card are welcome.

Almost same situation with me, holding HDFC Regalia LTF, SBI Cashback, Axis Flipkart LTF

I was thinking of holding Axis Ace and would use it heavily instead of Axis Flipkart but after devaluation, not even thinking of getting it. I was actually hesitant as I'm an iOS user, so, no point of utilizing utility bill payments.

So, got IDFC First Wealth, it's devalued too but since it's LTF, let's see how it turns out. I was also thinking of getting AU Lit, that's LTF too.

But the cards you've mentioned are premium ones, so, seems like you can afford good cards. I'm having a feeling that all the cards will eventually devalue like anything and the OG will remain and turn out as the best LTF card, Amazon Pay ICICI.

I am not looking at the super premium cards like Axis magnus or diners black. My annual spends can just about justify the above mentioned cards like amex platinum travel or axis atlas even at silver tier if it makes sense.

Ohkay just tried got only IDFC SELECT 😶
That's the second best out there (if one's not accounting in IDFC First Private CC), you can take it if it suits your needs.

Probably in my case, I've a 5+ year old CC and I provided 5.5L credit limit of HDFC Bank, maybe that's why I may have got Wealth as the chosen CC to apply for.
