My Friend paid his TNEB bill thru Niki by using Amazon pay.

Bill Amount around 11000.00. He paid it on 07Jan. Niki shows the txn as successful, but till now the bill showing unpaid in the TNEB website. Also raised isseu with TNEB, the replied back stating ’ NOT APPROVED BY BANK ’.

He contacted Niki by app, mail and call, they are telling they are investigating.

How the txn status showing as SUCCESS in NIKI. Actually it sud be PENDING right?

EDIT : Due date of the bill 18Jan.

Checked already. Nothing there.

I checked the txn status in TNEB, it was showing the Status as ‘not appoved by bank’ with date 07Jan (This option was available under Customer support —→ Transaction status)

Don’t know about how TNEB works but see if you get some option of printing the last payment receipt in TNEB site & use that to check.

Just now checked with him.

Still the case is pending.

He paid the Bill thru Amazon on Last day to avoid late fee.

Niki many times replied that the funds were processed at their end and successful and it will be updated in Operator end in 3 to 5 working days. After many follow ups with them thru twitter, Face book, mail and App they informed yesterday they will investigate and come back soon.

Should we need to everytime when we use other than native site bro?… I never did it pensive

In my experience around 95 pct of the time all will go thru without any issues.

Some times we will face this type of issues.

If ur getting good offers, no harm in trying out 3rd party apps.

Make sure to pay the bill atleast 2 days before due date.
