I took12 months no cost emi on samsung online store for purchasing s24 on the hdfc neu infinity cards 2 hours back

if i make complete payment tomorrow will it be not considered as ncemi & no extra charges ? read somewhere this

will i get any benefit for cancelling or should i keep it going for 12 months to get the ncemi benefits

You need to cancel emi by calling bank or through mycards if possible.

making full payment doesn't cancel emi.

Emi won't get cancelled... Now seems hdfc has changed process... You won't see transaction until emi is converted. Get into mycards.hdfc and cancel emi online if it's already created

Can anyone please explain regarding HDFC:

1. When to cancel EMI after order date?

2. Preclosure charges & any other charges?

3. Any problems that may occur later like card block or deactivation

1. Cancel when you see the transaction converted to SmartEMI. 2-3 days after order date. You will get email from HDFC about transaction conversion

2. Charges will be reversed if cancelled before statement generation. Nominal interest charges for 1 day + GST will be charged which will be around ~50-100₹

3. No problems as long as you we follow their process.
