I made a payment on Flipkart last month through phonepe from my debit card (I have not actually created the phonepe account from the app) from flipkart desktop site. The transaction failed twice and third time it was successful. The amount was debited from my bank but the order did not show up on flipkart, not even that the order failed. There was no mention of the order at all.
I thought that the amount will be reflected back after some time, but since that did not happen I contacted flipkart after 10-12 days. After a dicussion of a few days they told me to contact phonepe. When I contacted phonepe they told me that the amount will be refunded back to my account within 4 days. But now they again sent me the mail that the amount was not received at their end and so they cant refund.
I am wondering where the amount would have gone if it is neither in my account nor received by phonepe. Can anyone help me where the error could have been? Can anyone tell how much is the max time that takes to get refund for the amount done through debit card? I usually use netbanking but on that fateful day I used debit card and this thing happened. Please give your suggestions.
