Demat account holders have to opt-in/opt-out for nomination by March 31, 2023, failing which their demat account shall be frozen for debits. NSDL has provided a facility of Online Nomination (if their DP has subscribed to this service by NSDL). Using this facility, demat account holders can add up to 3 nominees in their demat accounts.
