There are 2 ways :

1. Create RD of 5k per month and keep maturity in March. Mature it in march and invest that amount in nps/ppf. You can get 7% interest extra also for rd.

2. Do sip of 5k in one of Mutual fund which have zero exit load. Redeem that mutual fund in March and invest in nps/ppf. You may get upto 10% gain

I follow this from 3-4 yrs for my investment in feb- march.

Investment is easily done as no one time debit is there and there is extra 7-8% gain also.

Had you invested in April alone in PPF, this would have given you tax free return of 7.1% instead of around 6% with tax return. I don't get the calculation

why dont you want to go in for vpf (epf) if your employer has it higher interest rates and you will get the whole if you are unemployed for 2 months

For PPF, standing instructions without any additional charges can be easily put if both Savings account and PPF account are in same bank. Just connect with your branch. Even a mail might help if you are unable to visit branch.

NPS account is opened at nsdl end and hence you will have to pay charges every time.

So no option.. i have to do manually each month..xd

It should be option anyway.. I don't think it is so complex to make it happen.

Btw nps acc i opened at their site.. in future if i die.. how my family get it and where they contact? Ppf I know its branch.. but nps idk where its physical branch xd

In case of NPS, use the virtual account option for Tier I/Tier II to schedule monthly transfer from bank.

Sbi yono app me schedule for 1 time hai.. means each successful payment you have to set the schedule again. Kisi ke paas sbi hoga to pata hoga .

You can add your nps account ( I or II or both) as a payee in netbanking from where you can schedule recurrent tranasfers specific smount at frequency ( weekly or monthly) you want

For PPF Account, open it with same bank from where you want to transfer money. Simpley add standing instruction for transfer. I do it with ICICI.

For NPS, map it with ET money and do SIPs easily.

@Sidhi.Baat.No.Bakwas create a SI to recurring money transfer to PPF account. ICICI supports SI for recurring transfer not sure about others.

all bank based PPF supports NEFT. Just create a recurring NEFT for fixed amount. I have set this up from DBS digibank savings to SBI PPF.

for NPS, I found only ICICIDirect linked NPS with linked ICIC Savings account to support SIP without any charges.
