Hello, I have a oneplus 6 which is almost 2 years old now. My phone is covered under battery protection wherein I can replace my battery @ 50% off within 2 years of purchase. It will cost me around 700 rupees. My battery seems to be fine as of now. But I intend to use the phone for more 1.5 years. So should I replace the battery now? As its at a concessional rate. Any oneplus user or someone who has knowledge kindly advice.

Yes, I agree even I have a OnePlus 3 and it’s battery is totally fine. Only problem is overheating !! When on heavy usage e.g games.
You cannot replace battery until the battery condition is bad. So they will assess the condition once you go there and only if battery capacity is poor, they will replace in the offer.
Ohh I was not aware about it. Thank you
Try to bargain by buying the replacement battery at Rs. 700 without changing it now and without surrendering the old one. Change it if need arises later, or sell it on olx
I think you should consider that.
My oneplus one stopped working due to battery after 3 years.
then i spent same amount of 800 for a battery with 3months warranty
I had no option as i had to take backup
Can replace with that 50% offer only if the app identifies battery as weak.
By the time that happens, that 50% offer will get over as it’s only for one year
On which app can I check the battery condition? Are you talking about oneplus care?
I have Oneplus 3 and it’s been more than 3.5 years and it’s battery is working fine
