Online PPF deposit method without savings account with that bank ??

I want to deposit annual minimum amount in ppf account ( Axis bank). I don’t have any savings account with axis bank. Is there any way to deposit money in ppf account online ?

Try neft from other bank to your ppf account

For NEFT, it is asking account type while adding payee in hdfc bank. Should i try with savings account as account type ? Tried UPI as of now but money is stuck with that.

just like savings PPF account has account number & ISFC. so just do NEFT/IMPS.

Most of the banks don’t accept online transfer though neft amount get reversed we need to manually deposit cheque

Finally deposited at cash counter only. Even bank guys were rejecting to deposit it. Were telling me to do it online by NEFT (even though i showed failure screenshot of NEFT) or visit home branch of Ahmedabad (where account was opened) to deposit even though i am in Punjab. Finally called customer care and asked bank employee to talk to customer care and finally after their conversation they accepted and deposited the amount.
