My google photos spaces are getting out of hands. Despite having 200 GB google one plan; its not enough and I have to revisit the photos section every now and then to find something to delete.

What's the best online storage options out there which can be the great alternative ?

Would like to hear what workaround people here got it and if they would mind sharing the trick with me.

best is to buy a harddisk and store the Photos and videos which u need the rarest. like trip photos which u may not need cloud access. create a folder "Trip- *****" and Just save in harddisk.

But with HDD, there's a risk the device might get faulty, also not having the access quickly is an inconvenience.

With TeraBox, 1 TB of free cloud storage space has become a reality like never before. 1 TB storage is a mammoth storage space that you can use to store a lot of data. For example, using 1 TB of storage space, you can store 400,000 HD images, or 2500 high-quality videos of up to 2 hours or you can use this storage space to save 2 full games.

The process of getting 1 TB of free cloud storage space is extremely easy. It just involves a few simple steps and anyone, even with a little technical knowledge, can easily get 1 TB of data for free using TeraBox Cloud storage

Note: Have not used it, Just am aware of it.

Checked out the lifetime plans for them.

300 USD for 2TB.

you could buy / build a "RAID 1: Mirroring" for this price. Only minute chance of data loss if both the drives fail together. Plus you have the advantage of having the data in your control.

firstly disable auto backup of photo/videos from your phone. 90% of the photos that we take these days are not worth keeping for the future. review your photos/videos once a day or once a week and backup only those which you think is worth keeping. same applies for any other family member who may be sharing your google one subscription.

you can get 200 GB free in Oracle Free Tier but you will need to set up a cloud linux machine and manually backup to it.
