reminded me of a post on DD where someone used to purchase electronic items such as smartphones at 5% cashback from Flipkart Axis Bank CC and used to sell them at some profit but the buyers gave him cash which he deposited in bank account (to repay CC bill) and ultimately his CC was also blocked by Axis Bank, leaving him with loss of good amount of cashback for last statement yet to be generated

then got notice from IT department seeking source of those funds (more than 17 lakhs) since the ITR filed was for much much lower amount

P.S. It has nothing to do with OP, just got reminded of that post and the trauma involved (for him)

Theoretically no limit, but practically take 5k cb per statement limit as the cut off / trigger point to avoid the risk of closure of the card.

They will consider it commercial use and block card. Cashback will also be forfeited. Be very careful.

Don't do Many Transactions for cashback on mobile booking etc. They will close your Card and Cashback Forfeit also done.
