Ordered Tv in flipkart, got delivered , but installation date scheduled by flipkart as 24th oct.

Cant reschedule it in flipkart app also. have contacted flipkart customer care many times. They are keep on telling the same thing, it will be installed by 24thOct2021. Anyway to request them to install as soon as possible.

Previously it was instant, in few days. But have to wait more than two weeks for installation

PS: Installation will be done by jeeves company.

There is no covid restrictions also

Don’t open the box yourself.
You are stuck in a small kids dilemma.

Keep the tv in a room with another tv. Open the door on 24th and you will get a small 14" tv in the room.

If it is BPL Nokia MarKyun Moto Thompson type stuff, then often the brand rights are with parent company of Flipkart or their close partners.

And thus you remain at the mercy of Flipkart (Jeeves is practically owned and operated by FOSL group companies).

Maybe the original delivery timelines are late and thus the kept the installation date to later.

If it is peak sale season, really not much headway to expect from a disorganised entiry as FK, FK customer support.

Else try your luck with the escalations people.


Jeeves, as per demand/ sales figures, might be hiring janitors and security guards as technicians… once every fortnight.
So wait for it.

I do not think the warranty contract would start till the official installation is done.
So that way you might be covered/ not at risk of loosing days.
May be the return window too works likewise.

They delayed it. I waited for more than 10days. But no use.  so directly called mi tv technician..They installed it in one day. Jeeves consumer service is not good. Better go for brand installation.

No you won’t but don’t expect quick resolution.
I have availed there service 2 times on tv successfully but it took more than a month both times for resolution

I hv taken complete protection plan, which covers accidental damage. N now jeeves refused to repair damaged tv, even after sending court notice. Simply avoid jeeves. Rest individual choice n experience.
