Hi
wife had gifted me a Samsung galaxy flip 4 on my birthday , while ordering the phone she did not pay attention that there are two options on amazon , one is "with offer" and other one is "without offer" .
"With offer" : available with price 90,000
"Without offer": available with price 73,000
and she had selected "With Offer" 😢
and placed order with her amazon shopping voucher balance . 😓
any suggestion ?

With offer - includes watch?
People still make this mistake of gifting expensive items to impress others, buy their loyalty or make them indirectly indebted to them.
1) First they do not ask is the other person does really need this rubbish, or if they find any value in using it.
2) Just gift the cash and stop forcing things on others. Cash is what most people might find great value at the moment ( and might remember your gift forever) and not a phone or gadget which they already have and which goes into the trash 2 years later.
🥲
PS : belated Happy Birthday

How can one be happy, knowing that someone in your household had wasted 17k on some random carelessness.
And yes of course, this is possibly the only experience he is going to remember on all birthdays in the years to come.
Cancel/return and reorder

The sellers know, sooner or later the buyer will realize it was not worth the money they paid for it and might intend to refund the purchase. So they put a stop to return for refund facility.
With offer (Seller - Appario Retail)
Without offer (third party offline sellers)
Additional exchange discount is the offer the e-com portal referred to here but Z Flip 4 - Watch 4 Classic (@ 2999) offer is limited to select online outlets and Samsung stores (offline) so you won't be getting the watch for those 60/70k listings + Even though these third party sellers are prime/amazon-fulfilled there's no guarantee that you'll receive a new sealed unit (Better option is to purchase the same offline)
And regarding redemption, there's no separate portal to do so. In the case of Amazon & Flipkart, the offer should go live on the said freebie/discounted product after couple of days from order date (Same account*)
PS: Your wife made the right decision in opting for Appario and IMO you shouldn't be even thinking about discount/cashback offers (Unless she too is into deals/discounts like us and can lose sleep when we overpay)
If by chance you can't do anything in this matter please don't live in the regret.
Remember the intention behind gifting such an expensive one, her love for you.
Ultimately one should make up their mind that what they pay is what it is worth , to avoid regret

I think your judgment is the one that's without akal - not her.
OP's wife may not be as smart-shopper as you, but at least she knows how to be kind and give a smile on her husband's face and that's more important.
Your opinion is as valid as your knowledge of her; so until you know her better, I suggest you keep it to yourself.

I would keep trolls away from my family as far as possible.
The whole concept of discounts, coupons, card offers, etc is to keep buyers as engaged to the platform as possible. Its not that the cost of making these smartphones change drastically every 2 days. We who get into these things do save some money by timing our purchases, but we should not expect everyone in our family to do the same. We pay with our time and peace of mind for the discounts that we get.
