Panasonic vs LG Air Conditioner

Hey guys,

I am reading up to buy an air conditioner (1.5T/5*/Inverter/SplitAC). Panasonic and LG seem to have some good features this year. LG has a UV model which has antimicrobial effects, Panasonic has some Nanaoe tech which I am not so sure about since it generates negative ions, which could affect lungs in the long run.

I have heard good things all around about LG, but have any of you bought Panasonic AC and used it for a significant period of time? How is their service?

Any points of Wisdom by long term AC users.

As per AC technician reviews and spares availability LG seems to be good.

Im a loyal panasonic customer ranging from AC to TV's. I have split AC installed in 2011. Its still working very well. Just need to refill the gas. I have had bad experience with LG.

Long term AC users don’t use those brands. Not sure why the fixation on those brands but your choice I guess. Those fancy features do not make an air conditioner good.

Good luck with your choice.

What would you recommend?
Those were narrowed down based on post-sales service and features.

I am not attached to any specific brand, just want to know the thoughts of people who have used AC in their homes for a long time. Most of my research is internet information-based and there is a lot of difference between book and real world knowledge.

Both are excellent.
Installation and service wise – Panasonic is more professional than LG.
