Hey guys, i have just seen a option to increase paytm postpaid limit by 5times
So do check ur ac see how much u get
Mine denied by paytm bcs of kyc n pan verification issues

No such option for me. Guess because have never utilized more than 50% of limit. I am KYC verified including Credit Score with them

They are asking permission for cibil verification.

Don’t go for it.
Now they are bringing in some credit agency for pay later which require accessing our credit score. It simply means, they will write to our credit history. So avoid.

Folks getting all excited, doing all this is going to put hard enquiries on your cibil/experian reports. This can be seen as a sign that you are credit hungry (provided you have applied for similar offers on mobikwik/credit card/et money/etc.)

Do not Confuse People. They clearly mentioned there whenever in use paytm postpaid in month you will get bill my end of month and 1 week time to pay the bill. if you don’t pay 7th extra charges. But extra charges are very high.
Example: June 17th used paytm postpaid for 5500rs. you will get statement on July 1st. You have to pay 5500 + 110 (2% percent interest) = 5610
If you pay before statement llike june 30th. No extra charges.
After statement generation of 1st of every month you will get 7 days to pay.
if you don’t pay in 7 days.
500 late fees
Total = 6110
June 17th to July 8th in 21 days we are paying extra 610rs.
Around 10% interest.
So if you are really intersted to use this service. only use 1st week of every month. even if you use 30th of month only 1 day to pay the bill or else extra 2%.

WTF.What is the point of calling it postpaid then? I hope they change this stupid system.

Even it says increase limit by 5 times but it only increase by 4 times after completing all steps !

What was the reason for denial. Why are they unable to verify pan number. Many users are facing this issue including me. did you check with Paytm regards it?
