paytm wallet fastag kyc issue

I want to use my paytm fastag but all of a sudden my paytm wallet which was already full kyc verified shows message to do vkyc if I want to add money in the wallet. Due to this, I am unable to use fastag which has low balance and is tied to this wallet. I did vkyc thinking that it will allow me to use the wallet to load money immediately but now stupid paytm says they will dispatch some address verification letter on my aadhar address through INDIA POST(read as forever delayed post) which will have a QR code to scan with the app to complete the kyc process.
what kind of circus is this? Beware with paytm fastag, this might even happen when you are on a trip and you will be forced to pay double amount in cash at every toll.

When they can separate a fuel wallet from normal wallet to credit their nonsense rewards, why cannot they create a fastag only wallet and operate. No other fastag provider has this faltu process.
Rbi had banned them, so they can't verify your address online. Instead they send qr & ask the customer to scan it in paytm app
Complete Bull**t bro. Even I faced the same issue.
I had about 10k in my paytm wallet, but when I was travelling the fastag didnt work and the operator said its showing low balance. I showed him my mobile saying I have 10k balance, then he checked and said the wallet is blocked due to KYC.
I also have FULL KYC wallet with them. Did the same process like you, after vKYC the send a post with QR. After scanning its completed.
Someone told that, Instead of vKYC you can do the biometric based KYC at the nearest KYC point, that will activate the wallet immediately.
I tried that, but as I have already initiated vKYC its didnt allow me to complete the KYC using biometric credentials.
The worst part is there is no notification about the KYC compliance or wallet disablement. They can send all junk notification through app, but not this.
Also there is a government deadline to complete KYC for fastag by 31st January, so that why these are blocking with giving proper notification or time.
Paytm/Mobikwik/..are like govt they do what they like without caring for customer
but we get some offer so we use
For me they have been showing KYC incomplete notification and in app for a month and now blocked - yet to renew
anyways I do not have fastag with Paytm
