Phone to buy from USA
A cousin would be travelling in mid Dec and I’ve placed a request for a phone 
Need suggestion on options that I should consider. An obvious one is iPhone 13 Pro.
PS : I am an iPhone user having used Android in past and I have no issues switching back to android, if its worth it.

I was looking at the unlocked rates which is 1000$+ taxes. Comes to be 82K.
Is there a way to get it cheaper? Pls guide.. I am a novice in this and would be getting one for the first time from US.
Unless you are aiming for a Samsung flagship I don’t see any worthy Android phone that you can get from US. We have lot better options right here in India.
Iphone 13 pro is a no brainer. A great phone that’s way cheaper in US. Just ensure you order it well in advance as the waiting times are quite long due to chip shortage
Samsung flagships would cost approx the same so iPhone 13 pro seems to be the best bet right now.. Will search more on Pixel 6 pro.
Do iphones bought from US have international warranty by default?
We were unsure so a friend suggested 12 which seems much cheaper in India right now and save. Hows that option?

Bro 12 is cheaper in India right now from what I see on official apple website in US vs deals on DD. Why buy from US?
if u r ordering just for the sake of getting it from US,re-consider and save money.personally I don’t find much reason to go wid pricey phones(laptops etc are worth though)

Getting 13 Pro seems too tempting at the price 
dont get apple.. get pixel 6 pro but google is launching it in 8 countries only(no india launch) so make sure it has international warranty…
pixel 6 pro camera is gonna be at par with apple 13 pro max or some say even better… gud battery back up is there too so its gonna be an all rounder pixel
Beware of buying it from bestbuy or any third party store. I bought it for a friend once and it got locked to airtel and it is not working anywhere else this he came to know only when he wanted to do mnp . Apple india or airtel is not helping either. Googled to find that iphones sold in third party stores get locked to the first sim installed in the phone if the network provider has some locking policy.

Apart from phone, i would suggest you to get a charger from there if available for around $16.
I have bought one from portronics from india but this one is even smaller and has got good reviews.

Avoid going with pixel. Their customer service is India is worst. Your best bet would be apple which provides international warranty on unlocked devices. If you are will to pay that premium get yourself an iPhone 13 pro else 12 at 47k on bbd was nuts

Further, getting ipads MacBooks and apple watch are much more profitable than an iPhone
One of my relative work in us and that also in apple, so he is getting 20% off on apple product. But i never aksed him to bring any apple product for me, not because i dont like / unlike its only because 50k is very much out of budget if i am getting i13 pro max also.

Stick with iPhone, you will not like Android now. Many reasons of which one is status symbol – Right now you may deny of this. But please reconsider replying to this post after 6 months of switching to Android.

You can try for Pixel 6 pro if the reviews turn out to be very good ( At least 20% cheaper compared to Indian launch price? )
and regarding iphone 13 series, you can find some good deals on career locked phones ( For some, there is no waiting period to unlock { Fully paid phones } and it is 1 year for few.. so do check )
