Hi,
Is there any website from where we can get quote to replace screen of a Samsung phone? Can we inquire about the same from their customer support? Will the service center honor that price?

Service center is quoting more than 2×.
Do they give warranty on the replaced part from the service center.

Saale jyada bta rahe hai. Have taken a ss from their site.
There are two parts in mobile screen , first is only glass which will cost u around 400 and second is combo which will cost above 1000 …
So tell the repairman only glass is cracked I don’t need combo…..

Only 1 service center here, they are saying the excess amount is their labor charge. Samsung said that they are charging screen price as per website+18% gst labor charges depends upon the service center’s discretion.
A lot of them are franchisees, they go to the same market where you’d buy a cheap knock-off display/digitizer…
They charge you for the labor and any price for the display, there was no mechanism for tracking (I’m talking about 2-3 years ago) not sure about now.. They have better equipment so some of the fixes are more permanent, not some temp fix where you need to rush to sell the phone… Way more expensive though, if you’re out of warranty for whatever reason, it’s a rip off…
Local shops take more care and try to do a better job, although they do a lot of jugaad in the phones, jumpers instead of fuses, drag solder across and make a bridge, etc.. add glue gun glue instead of high quality resins etc… But cheaper, especially if you get the spare part…
Decide accordingly…

Yeah bro that’s what I am facing now.
I had a moto phone its touch got damaged got it changed although i was asking for a folder change but this damn moto g5 plus folder have no availability.
There was a water damage so in order to* clear the water from screen he did Juggad and changed reflector with another one and soldered jumper wires for display led*.
Now mere after one month they got loose and display started turning on and off.
Now took it to a nearby shop he opened it but somehow damaged the screen now there are permanent spots on screen now asked for folder change but again not available.
He said can repair for ₹500 but spot will be there but you see ₹500 for just soldering a wire.
So I asked my phone back and then he removed those wires jumper wires.
