Few days back the tp-link 300mbps router was on AZ for just 899.it will come again wait for it and buy that.
It has ws bridge which can talk to other ws bridge protocol routers and repeaters ( in future) and extend your Internet coverage in your house.
Are you talking about this one?

Bro I won’t prefer wireless routers because wired routers are good enough for me , and not having too much knowledge in the deparent I feel wired routers would be a safer bet for me.
Router or Router with modem
Difference ?

Wireless routers are also wireless routers plus with ws bridge will make you future ready and not spend another 1000 bucks later.
You can save the money that way to buy super router may be 2 years from now.
4G + ADSL + Wired + Wireless + print server + cloud storage + network storage + firewall .

Lagta hai @ishandon has looted this from flipkart and selling on Amazon
@hidden I have no idea about Siti Cable Broadband. Assuming they run an ethernet cable to your house (i.e. they don’t use telephony/DSL technology), I would recommend you to go for a WiFi router with a 3G/4G modem option. This will provide automatic internet connectivity backup option through a 3G/4G dongle when your cable internet goes down.

If price is a big constraint then you can purchase TP-Link WR841N as suggested by others.

Good suggestion bro but the 3G/4G dongle isn’t of much use to me currently and moreover the price is above my budget
Is the Tp-link 841N better than the Netgear and D-link one’s with respect to range and network stability?

Sir I have very minimum knowledge regarding the same
Your words are hard for me to understand!!
For now my sole purpose is to connect my laptop and mobile to Internet through the WiFi network. And occasionally share the network with my friends residing just a floor under me.

Yes, the signal range for this router is definitely better than other brand routers in the same price range (under 1k). If you ever face range problems, you can buy a repeater to double or triple the range or you can buy another piece of this router and run it in the repeater/bridged mode.

Bought this “TP-LINK TL-WR841N 300Mbps Wireless N Router” few days ago, got it delivered.
Price: 1126(Listed)-338(ACC30-Paytm)-58(CB)
Total price : 730 Effective.
Quick Review: (Seller:Reevox)
Packing,Deliver,Product looks time all are good.
Wifi Range is good, No drops And No Heat.(as of now)
Let me know if you want any thing else..
Not an expert but just my 2 cents..
Let me correct the words wireless router is also a wired router (error was due to mobiles predictable typing). So you connect laptop by cable and mobile by wifi. Checked even 150mbps will do on your connection. Reason on insisting ws bridge is you can add a repeater later and extend range.
In simple words you can make your toilet seat as your driver seat to race with your friends online LOL. You will not be hindered by poor wifi range.

Sir, haha good joke
Btw @dealseeker says that Tp-link router can also bridge connections and increase signal range.

Does bridging decrease the speed considerably?
For example if at a location the signal strength is one bar, then there I place the same router to be used as bridge, will the speed be same as under main router or will it be considerably less?

Technically, bridging doesn’t increase or decrease the speed. But I understand what you are trying to ask. If you are getting a very low signal, say 1-bar, at a place where you want to work on your device (PC/mobile) then you should put a new router in the bridged mode somewhere between your main router and this place where signal is very low. This way, you will end up getting good or average signal at the place where you want to work.
You can determine the best locations by trial and error. Also, make sure to follow the basic guidelines about router placement for good signal coverage. See: http://routerguide.net/best-router-physical-pla...
