ReadEra for Android. If the PDF or EPUB has a Table of contents (TOC) / Bookmarks, this app makes it very easy to navigate the book. Also there are plenty of options to customize.

Kindle is best.

Digressing a bit from the ask here but most cities have a local area where new/used books are available for cheap. The best way to read a book is offline. You'll save your eyes and body posture. A few hundreds on a book are well worth it.
