I have PNB Savings account (Opened through branch).
I am being charged for Debit Card and SMS.
How I can get rid of these charges.
I have Rupay classic debit card.
If I will call customer care and get my debit card hotlisted, will it have any negative impact? I still want to use PNB app. Also, I hope that once I get my current debit card hotlisted, they will not automatically issue a new debit card.
Right now getting SMS for even credit transaction. Will it stop once I ask Customer care to stop SMS service. Also, can they STOP SMS service?
I am already paying ATM charges for other banks as well, and don't want to just pile up annual and quarterly charges.
Kindly share tips/tricks to minimize charge

There is no free Debit card
Stopping SMS charges- you wont receive SMS alerts. Although you can ask them to add your email id and all alerts should be on email id free of cost.
get physical debit card hotlisted and generate virtual debit card which is FREE of cost
SMS charges is something I'm pissed off with but I've made peace with it 😣
It will help me in resetting / authenticating net banking password issues and app login like of things and UPI registeration?
