Post-demonetisation, 99% of Rs 1,000 notes back with RBI

Data put out by the RBI suggests almost 99% of the Rs 1,000 in circulation came back into the banking system.
The data also shows that at the end of March 2017, there were Rs 8,925 crore worth of Rs 1,000 notes still in ‘circulation’.
