What's the benifit of using prepaid cards instead of direct credit cards?

Can anyone pls give some info as I'm not using any prepaid cards currently

First thing that's comes to mind is keeping small transactions from your main account/credit cards.

1. You can load the wallet once and make small transactions from it.

Like a transaction of 58rs or 136rs don't get full points or cb. But if you load a wallet 200rs and make these transactions, you will get cb/points for the whole value, if your cc gives points on wallet loads.

2. Some wallets now allow upi transfer like mobiqwik. You can load your wallet with a credit card and pay offline merchants who don't accept credit cards.

3. Certain wallets give cb for payment using them. Double cb.

These are some of the uses.

mini KYC hehehe xD not worth for full KYC for any card

except slice:) which is giving good cashback when using their UPI and playing their fire game lol:)

but for slice i didnt done any full KYC they fetched my CKYC number i think and made it full kyc themselves when i signed up:) which is a plus for me, as i usually wont do full KYC for prepaid cards as they are not worth it:)

Slice is the only exception for me with full KYC

let me add your cards to the list:) as the post is editable still:)

-Ypay is good card till the added some charges , there physical card is from yes bank and it works well on rupay

-Also paulpay , provide with virtual card too , earlier they facilitated money rotation thru credit card bill payment but now that loop is closed

-omnicard QR scanner works well with UPI/paytm QR

Ypay ya seemed like a good card which is why i tried to get it first but it kept on asking aadhaar and now its promoting kinda govt stuffs like what BHIM app does.... so i thought to stay away from it

Paulpay thats new for me:) hmm let me add it to this list:) on the post i think the post is editable:)

Omni card ya good for UPI transfers but sadly the top up to this card charges around 2.17% every time i load it grrr thats insane charge:) so i use it for only using other prepaid rewards balance transfer to it and then to pay my other stuffs using UPI

Thanks for sharing:)
