Bluetooth enabled he isliye liya hu. Without wifi bluetooth se device control kar sakte he sayad.
App me account registration ke time, email adress (mandatory), Phone number(Mandatory), Adress (Optional) mang raha.
Email of customer is fine. TPLINK account only asks email id.
Phone number se login bhi possible nahi he. Wo phone number kyun mang raha ?
Once we set phone number, we can not change it at all. Had chat conversation in whatsapp support, got two different answers.
They need phone number to periodically authenticate user and provide sales services (I belive subcription spam etc)
Just to use their smart plug think twice sharing the phone number for account sign up. I feel its very fishy.

The fact is all the smart plugs are of same company and these companies are just putting their label on it, even the software of every company is same just putting skin over it.
I am using wipro smart plug and can use other companies app easily.
Smart bulbs m yahi h sab data chori/user dikhane k tarike h for paisa. Sab chor h, inko to app se location be chaiye, hum weather k hisab se adjust kar denge bulb etc. Hmmm.
same with portronics.
