Query for Bangaloreans

Dimers, which residential area would be good to rent in for someone whose office is in EGL, Domlur ? Primarily considering rental cost and the ongoing water crisis , along with areas closer to office.

My cousin needs to move next month to Bangalore, and prefers a 1BHK home for above use-case. Some 5-6 years back, pre-covid times, I used to stay near that HAL, Old Airport area (Murugeshpalya iirc), and it was an okiesh area, so suggested him this. But need some advice as to the recent times considering water crisis, in case that area is affected.

Any pointers on this will be helpful.
