Query reg. IDFC CC Reward points redemption during transaction

I have redeemed my IDFC CC Reward points, through "Pay With Rewards" option during transaction. But to my surprise, it'll be charged on the card, instead of reducing points in my account.
Will it get reduced during settlement of transaction, or do we redeem the points only through portal?

Yes, it will be credited to your credit card account within 3 days. No need to redeem it again through portal.
