Query: SBI Debit Card "Due for Renewal"

No you will not get card after expiry also..... i too got same message...didnt got any card....went to branch and applied...till now didn't got the card...23 days passed

If your card not going to expire in a month and msg having link to do kyc . it's a message from fraudsters.that's it..

SBI being psu bank that too the biggest psu bank does things in this manner only as their system simply can't handle the load if they start sending these card renewal notifications a few weeks before expiry of the card. As someone mentioned, even if they do send notifications it is not likely that you will get the new card for sure. Even normally it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get a debit card from sbi.

i also got same msg. you don't need to do kyc. u get new DC before one month of current DC. you get new card in feb

Ye KYC KYC Bol bolke fraudsters - Most of the People ko Chuna Lagate hai...

RBI Should implement CENTRAL KYC to all the banks like if you have done kyc with any of the bank then you shouldn't been asked for such things....before 2015 people didn't even know this term.

KYC - Know Your Customer is good. but, banks ko maza ata hai logo ko line me khada rakhke 4-5 hrs just to collect the form and also it doesn't even get updated in real-time. I stay in Rural Region and I have seen PSU Banks and their customers (50+ Age groups - Illiterate) those people suffer the most

Dear SBI Customer, Your SBI Debit Card ending 3435 is due for renewal. Bank will send a new card shortly. Pls update your KYC to avoid rejection. In case you do not want to renew please block the card. - SBI
