Qyery regarding EMI transaction on Flipkart from ICICI CC

I’m a new CC user. It will be really helpful if someone clear my doubts.
I purchased a microwave oven from Flipkart yesterday by selecting the EMI option of 6 months.
Total amount has been deducted from my available limit
My bill generation date is 14th of every month.
As far as I know the entire amount will be credited back and EMI amount will be debited later that.
What will happen if the transaction does not get converted to EMI before bill generation date? Will I have to pay the entire amount on first month itself?

Just fyi, in case of sbi credit cards the entire amount is blocked from the card limit(bill generated will only reflect emi of the month) & every emi payment releases a portion of the blocked amount.

if bill generated with full amount contact cc for revised amount to be paid
No need of full payment even if bill generated before conversion to EMI
