I received my HDFC Regalia CC today and to surprise it is master card. Did you guys already have HDFC CC + Master Card varient? Is it better than Visa or Rupay in anyways?

Yes, HDFC Regalia RuPay variant already working on Merchant UPI payment or free other banks credit card bill repayment via UPI.

One thing worth noting is, there is a good chance the Rupay variant isnt accepted internationally. Some Rupay cards are international, but I think those are the exception.. its an Indian payment network.

Mastercard has some golf offers.. You miss out on Visa Signature bms offer..
same reward rate.. same lounge list. no difference really.
There was a time when Visa had an advantage of being accepted more widely.. that's pretty much over.. its basically the same.
edit: the rupay might have the UPI linking which visa/mastercard wont have anytime soon.
