Mastercard has some golf offers.. You miss out on Visa Signature bms offer..

same reward rate.. same lounge list. no difference really.

There was a time when Visa had an advantage of being accepted more widely.. that's pretty much over.. its basically the same. 

edit: the rupay might have the UPI linking which visa/mastercard wont have anytime soon.

One thing worth noting is, there is a good chance the Rupay variant isnt accepted internationally. Some Rupay cards are international, but I think those are the exception.. its an Indian payment network.
