Received Rajshri multimedia speaker instead of JBL SB241 soundbar

Hi Guys

I had bought JBL Soundbar SB241 on the day of prime early day sale with this deal link :-

It was not open box delivery.

It was just received

When i opened and i found it was not JBL Soundbar...This is what I received in package :-

Interestingly Seller was Appario Retail Private Ltd which is renowned and trusted seller of Amazon.

I have raised this concern with Amazon and this is the reply what i received after sharing photos and videos.

Order Id and Serial no. mentioned on Box is same or different?
Warehouse looks culprit here, but it can be mistake like they might have packed different product in different Box.

Don't expect any resolution.... Amazon is not accepting any mistake of theirs.... These days.... Even genuine ones

Cant say for sure but most likely its the local warehouse (No ASIN mixup since i couldn't find any other user-reviews with mismatched product delivery). Contact Amazon after 28th, they're going to say the investigation (non-existent) results are out and you passed with distinction toungueout + issue refund (Assuming your account doesn't have too many returns/replacements in the past year or so)

Even no bill was available inside...

On box there is a delivery copy invoice with AWB and all..Seller is same everything matching from it.

Looks like a clear cut fraud by delivery executive....

I asked few delivery person later where is your warehouse? he answered sir "Humare Ghar par hi pade hai sab packets , Ghar pr hi aate hai"

I think Delivery executive has stolen from it and putted cheap Rajshri multimedia speaker.

Let's see what they will provide me after 28th refund or replacement.

2/3 years back I had ordered 1 wired earphone, don't remember brand name but received jbl earphone which was a bit better and the bill inside has name of someone else and other state

I later conveyed the customer care, they said we can replace it or you can keep it.

It was better product so I kept it.

Pickup reminder: Your return pick up for JBL Cinema SB241, Dolby Digital... is scheduled for tomorrow, Oct 5, between 7AM-7PM.



But,

If pickup person cancels again tomorrow i will send someone to warehouse or i will go myself and will directly have chat with manager.

May be, they do. Once they sent me a replacement (mobile order) even before the faulty mobile got picked up (Pickup got delayed multiple times) but this happened a while back

Yes these advance refunds things used to happen before 2018 but not heard recently.

Called him and explained all matter, asked him questions why they're cancelling pickup continuosly without attempting.

First of all he said , I'm on vacation for 2-3 days outstation, i don't know why this happening and who is doing it... I will be back on 8th October and i will personally send someone for the pickup. Meanwhile share all the details on WhatsApp.

Shared all the details.

Now I'm confident issue will be resolved on 8th October either by Amazon or by manager itself.

This is Pebby D. with Amazon Executive Customer Relations. Jeff B. received your email, and I'm responding on their behalf.

I have reviewed your concern regarding order 406-7739936-64XXXXX. I apologise for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. Please be assured that from an Amazon perspective it is absolutely and completely unacceptable for a driver not to attempt to pick up your return. This individual driver failed to meet the high service standard we set for our customers.

The details of this incident have been passed onto Senior Management at the carrier who are in the initial stages of a full investigation of the driver’s behaviour and will be taking the appropriate actions. Unfortunately we will be unable to share the details of this investigation with you for data protection reasons. A return pick up has been created for October 8, 2022, Please have the item packaged and ready to go when our courier comes to your home. Once we receive the item in our return center we will issue a refund.

I do apologise for any distress this incident has caused you, and I am truly sorry that your experience with Amazon regarding this delivery has been a negative one.

UPDATE

PIckup cancelled 3rd time but today they explained very nicely and requested me to ask Amazon to remove the actual product from return pickup then we will immediately pick it up from you. That's the only reason your return is stuck.

He told me in their system it's asking for actual product while customer has received different order. Even if you give us the package you will be not able to receive refund.

He is asking for the email/response from Amazon to delivery hub , full details with previous cancelled pickup return IDs along with order ID.

I have just emailed ECR again regarding this along with call recordings.

Let's see

Not sure if these guys evaluate audio/video recordings but these customer relations executives are indians and even if one doesn't speak/understand hindi.. they should be able to forward to some other one who can @Shahskm

Yes according to his post he got this fixed by contacting chat support...

But in my case, i called them today 2 times but got same reply, account specialist was on the call, 

He said sir, your case is being handled by senior team (ECR), we can't interfere between this process with your order id,

Even he listened to the whole call recording between me and warehouse manager, 

He advised me to mail ECR along with conversation in written form they will definitely help you.

@irajnish can you share us the process and what email you had got after customer support who created return pickup by deleting actual product image?

Actually in my all return pickup email it was mentioned Send the wrong item you have received but I didn't told them to remove the images, i didn't knew about it.

Mera bhi aaj hi pickup huya hain aur aaj karib 1 baje leke gaya tha lekin aabhitak refund initiate nhi huya aur yeh dikha raha hain Amazon mein...

Generally the refund procedure gets initiated as soon as the product gets picked-up but iss bar nhi huya...Aisa na ho, ke product bhi le liya aur paise bhi refund nhi diye...Lol...😄

Refund is only initiated once returned product reach their "verification team" to confirm the product's physical condition as per reason given in return complaint(e.g. say product returned for reason not working/starting with no physical damage visible but returned product found to have physical damage not mentioned in original return complaint then acc flagged as suspicious/non-genuine).
