I would not suggest Quant to anyone keeping high risk and volatile approach of the fund manager, rest Nippon and Mirae are fine
Axis blue chip
Nippon india small cap fund - medium risk
Sbi contra fund - high risk high return
Been an investor in both fund from pasy 7yrs beautiful returns. Have few more exposures but these are beast for me
Research before investing
Nippon
Icici
Recommended Funds:
Paragh Parikh flexi cap fund (best and stable returns but exit load slightly more)
Nippon india small cap ( best small cap fund with good returns but no lumpsum , only sip)
Thematic:
Icici prudential infrastructure fund ( high return high risk but best in infrastructure)
Also rather than investing in liquid fund, I suggest to check arbitrage funds which has better returns and lower risk than liquid funds .
With regards to fund houses, I have used sbi, Nippon , icici, quant , sbi, hdfc, etc but if you check past performance of all categories of funds you will find icici funds are giving better and stable returns as compared to same category funds from other houses . Next best is Nippon ..don't go for quant, they show high return but risk is very high , ultimately low return
Anyday Parag Parikh flexi cap fund
I have been invested in it for the last 4 years with very good returns
Mirae Assets, Parag Parekh, Quant - Cap your investments to max 30-40% in a single fund house and to 20-25% in a single fund. Golden Rule - Diversify (Asset Class, Fund House, Fund Type). 30-50-20 rule might work.
Thanks for reply all.
I chose
Midcap - pls suggest
Small Cap - Nippon
hope it's fine
@Snax @Azhar90 what about quant is the issue? Can you explain or give us a link to a source? What do you think about the quant small cap fund?
1 Nifty 50/nifty next 50 index fund ( most of the actively managed large cap funds failed to beat index in long term) so no point in paying high expense fees
2 Nifty midcap 150 or (midcap150momentum50+ midcap 150 quality 50)
3 Any active small cap fund( Nippon/sbi)
4 Goldbees
Or if looking for active managed fund pick any flexi cap+ midcap index + goldbees
Make sure there is no overlap between choosen funds .
Quant, nippon, mirae
