Regarding this id it is created for sending HS18 coupons to @svprod6 and help 1 fellow dimer with flipkart student account.

Will create 4-5 more fake ids and do the same for which u have suspended earlier ? or mark a pm/mail to admin asking or the reason ? One more simple step could be that u wait for some time and follow the forum ….What more easy way u need ?

P.S – We are not responsible if any user doesn’t read the rules and after making mistake give an excuse that he/she was not aware about that (Specially when he/she is a senior member)

Not personally but I would have liked some more feedback and updates on the android app thread. But that is another story.

I understand that somethings need to be kept private but a little more openness and consistency are definitely needed.

Regarding the second part of your message, a way out maybe to show a message to the blocked user and an option to get in touch with the admin/mods. Site Suggestion

other forums have warning system built into the profile..

every time a user receives a warning or a temporary ban user receives the reason along with the time the ban will last and in most cases can be seen by other members by visiting the users profile..

can’t dd employ the same ?

it would reduce moderators work as well , plus would offer more transparency as well..

have bounced this and similar ideas to some site in-charges on prior occasions; albeit over private messages.

i seriously do think that site administration as an ancillary activity to other real life work can and does affect site maintenance.

since i am not sure if i reached the correct audience; pardon the repetition:

• i am unsure if this site gives out automated private messages or electronic mails for posts deletion or warnings related to topics (inappropriate content/ against rules)
  [there ARE sites that do it, hence the assumption that it is possible to replicate it here at DD]
• this may raise a red-flag in few minds: but it helps in those sites that allow/ have a section of ‘recently logged in’ or ‘recently banned’ or details of members’ last login date
• paid members of Parity Cube or at-least some people whose primary (if not only) activity is baby-sitting DesiDime
• since lower mortals do not have a peek into the section where mods/ admins interact i may be repeating what already has been discussed.
  Yet the feelings of slip ups must be present there; ’cause references of those discussions abound (apart from the very open grilling dimers put Mods to on varied topics like FPD criterion, unattended demands in the garb of requests etcetera)
