Recently paid 38K using AGV
1. Enter the insurance details, go till the last page, if everything is fine. Cancel payment.
2. Add the GVs now
3. Redo the step 1 and pay.
Sometimes the insurance website will not accessible by Amazon, so do this above steps to avoid any problem.
Have paid most for the insurance from Amazon, never faced any issue at payment page. But fetching the insurance details failed many times due to insurance website accessibility by Amazon.

Insurance premium have been increased from this year, mostly for all others as well
How did you saved 1.4k? Is this using card or offer? I also have around 14k of premium to pay

Paid 12k for an insurance payment on 27Nov and still there is no issues with paying in insurance premiums with Amazon pay balance.
Instead of adding the full 18k gvs before proceeding the txn, better to add the gvs in the payment screen. By doing so we can see whether the option to use AGV is available or only UPI option is available.
For all payments above 5k, i will always use to add the gvs in the payment screen.
For utilities, above 9999 there will be a option only to pay using UPI.
