Just received HDFC's update on how they're gonna sent UPI alerts from now on. Low value transactions won't be getting SMS updates

Add your hdfc bank upi to other app like amazon phonepe etc to get sms alerts.

These are basic operational cost which are very much required for every customer. HDFC have to cust cut the dumbass bonuses of the so called top management as they already get hell lot of free facilities and services apart from extremely high salaries.
This changes is actually opposing RBI guidelines. Try mass complain to RBI. I don't have HDFC savings account. Sms actually helps when UPI app stucks during any issue
credit is ok, but they need to send debit alerts with mandatory sms which helps user to report any unauthorized transactions
Ever since Rupay CC launched, many chillar transactions has become easy by upi scans with roadside shops. Now we don't get to track those smaller transactions made. We have to login and see if the money is deducted correctly or not.

I used to do smaller transactions around upto ₹2000 using my Paytm Payments Bank. It was very useful as it was fast and major point was that there were 'lesser entries in bank statement'.
Now, they are not sending messages for amount below 100 is not of any use to me as Shopkeepers always look at my payment page not the message. But, it will surely decrease my message count as I always pay digitally even for milk, eggs, etc.
More Manual work now updating spend tracking apps like Axio or similar apps with smaller transactions.
We do many such transactions like paying for Auto, bills, food, etc.
It's too much chindipana by such big banks.
They will spend hundreds to thousands of crores in cold calling and spamming.
But reluctant to spend even 1% of it on customer care and similar services.
