Returning Jio STB

I am returning jio STB (downgrading to 399 plan). Got it free with 799 3 months plan.
Can I keep HDMI and Ethernet cable and just handover remote, STB and Charger to the engineer? Will Jio fine me? Anybody.
Now don't ask me why I am keeping those 😅. Those will be useful.

yeah customer care told, Engineer will take it back. They have raised a service request also.
Then only 399 plan will be available otherwise 599 is available which includes TV+OTT which are not useful to me.
In my case, engineer did not bother taking the HDMI / Ethernet cable. He only took the STB, remote and its adapter. Don't include / offer the cables when he asks for the STB. Let him explicitly ask you. If he does then it is your duty to return those.
Oh I provided the remote also. Was I supposesd to keep it? 😅

What if someone later upgrade the plan?
Jio guys never asks for HDMI cable or ethernet cable while return of STB or router. Just adapter and remote control.
I dont have first hand experience, but I dont think they will ask cables, try and if they ask give, if not you can have them.
Do they actually take the STB, once you down grade the plan?
