Revised Guide for using Android Emulators

LIMBO

In my previous guide I had strived to make it noob-proof,to cover almost every possible scenario. It seems all I ended up doing was to complicate it further. U know what they say abt the road to hell being paved with good intentions & all that…..

Anyways without further ado…
For the time being I will concentrate only on Bluestacks as its the only one that works with FC. Anyways operating Youwave is child’s play.
Rooted/cracked Bluestacks 0.9.6 (removed from official site): www.mediafire.com/download/y287bsy7zio4msg/Blue... abt 250MB .
It does not prompt for purchase nor does it download any apps on its own.
This is the software that will effect all the changes :http://www35.zippyshare.com/v/94607262/fil...ml
P.S. Dont mess around with the experimental features.
After every recharge
1.Run BS Tweaker as Administrator
2.Exit(Full Stop)BS*
3.Delete Data & SDCard Files(click OK on both)
4.Start BS
5.After it is completely launched, click to change GUID,Google Advertising ID & Android ID one after the other.
6.Exit(Full Stop)BS so that diff. values can be overwritten
7. Now Start BS & do ur stuff.
8. Rinse & repeat after every recharge.

Does anyone know how to block background data in Bluestacks? The built in feature does nt work.
Already disabled “Auto update apps over Wifi” in Play Store and Backup & Sync. No apps running at all other than system services.
Will SQLite help? Any app to disable background data? Already tried a few but no success. The culprit is Google Play Services but many other services are grouped under it so its hard to pinpoint exactly.

Never tried that but will look into it. What apps did you try? I think you have already tried this one. http://bluestacksapk.com/Download_Toggle-Backgr...

Yup. Tried it as well(the free version for XDA users). It installed but its icon never showed up. Using ES File Manager tried to add shortcut to homescreen. Again no luck.
Edit: The Play Store settings are nt synced across installs(maybe cuz I hv disabled Sync permanently). Manually disabling updates and restarting BS does the trick quite frequently.

Try this, change your Google play account’s password. Put it wrong, and restart. Now, see which app is popping up for changing the pass. Kill that app.

Use proxycap and block all data on an as-needed basis. It is also useful for other important things. PM me if you need help setting it up.

Yes, you can use the SDK to simulate SMS and calls. Eclipse also has a feature to allow for this. But I didn’t post to prevent massive misuse. I am disappointed, but I do understand that everyone has their philosophy about what’s right and what’s wrong. https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif

No disrespect but why are you so interested in Paytm cashback offers for Samsung E5/7 users then? Faking IMEI is something that I would nt do. Plus its one thing to exploit the big corporates and another to cheat the common man. Thats why I did nt join in the Yippee promotion and I am staying away from the aforementioned as well(even if it were possible).

No. I assume the one from XDA? U cant set IMEI manually in BS. Even in Registry its in Hexadecimal format. Its totally random. I had inquired BS Tweaker dev regarding this way back but apparently its nt possible.

I have probably never gotten a chance to tell this to you privately, but sometimes I post such things (and even contact some users privately) just to see what’s happening and whether somebody has found an exploit. #NowTheSecretIsOut #Feelers #DontHate

I have personally never made use of such exploits for my own personal financial gain, but I do test them to verify. #PenetrationTesting
