Samsung offline store additional discount
I went with my friend to some franchise store of Samsung. The shopkeeper said that there is an extra discount of Rs. 1500 on every Samsung phone if we let him activate it using his sim. How does this work? Any offer going on as in multiple activation’s will fetch more targets or something?

No idea. How about asking him for more details as to what is he gaining out of that, and what are the implications for the end consumer.
Other thing you can do is, go to another franchise and ask if he (the new franchise) can match the price/ offer additional discount without mentioning the sim card registration thing.
