SBI Card bug

MohitSinghRa...
I have two credit cards, a cashback card and a simply click card. When I make online purchases, I use my SBI Cashback card regularly. Both of my cards have been saved to my Amazon account. The transection is done with only CVV. Mistakenly, I enter CVV of cashback card in simply click instead of cashback card when doing a transaction on Amazon and transaction was successful. How is it possible? In order to verify, I performed another transaction with a random CVV on my Simply Click card, and my transaction was successful every time. Because I didn't use my cashback card, I lost my 5% cashback on Amazon transactions.

your card has been tokenized.

if you don't know what that means, check google or card issuer website

CVV is not required for a tokenized card. however amazon has not updated its UI

RBI mandates 2FA

So OTP + (CVV/Tokenized/App Pin/Biometric) and it will go through .. so if you give wrong CVV but correct App Pin or Biometric transaction will go through without any issue. .. This has been the case since ages..

But it should ask for OTP right?

" The transection is done with only CVV" Does it not asks for OTP?

Can't do it because it's a gift card purchase from Amazon.

Your card has already been saved now.... If you enter the wrong CVV then also it will do the transaction. Check the reel
