SBI Card - non serviceable address update

I received my SBI card recently and the first bill is yet to be generated. Since my PIN code was found to be non-serviceable on Sprint, I used the nearby area's PIN Code and got the card. Even their sales agent okayed the approach during the first call! Now I am thinking of updating my address to reflect the actual PIN code. Would serviceability be an issue or would it raise red flags since I am updating the address so soon?

Wrong pin code means it will be updated as it is ..in your central kyc registry used by all the banks and financial institutions...will be better to update it in next 2 months

You have brought up a very valid point. I remember seeing a CKYC mailer when I got my HDFC card. I have now gone ahead and used the Digilocker-based address update option on the SBI card website. An SR has been opened for the same.

Let the first statement generate, wait a couple of months, pay regularly then update via app if need to.
What is the need to update it anyway? I see no use in it.
