REVISION OF BENEFITS ON CASHBACK SBI CARD
With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your
CASHBACK SBI Card:
A. Below categories will not be eligible for Cashback benefit, apart from existing exclusions:
The Merchant Category Codes are defined by the Networks and are subjected to change basis
their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the
Networks without any requirement forintimation/information to the customers.
B. Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will
be capped at `5000.
C. Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

Statement generated on 3rd May, full 8.2k of accumulated cb was credited just now in transaction history. Last transacted on 21st April before statement generation.

Whatever comes, like just paytm or one97 comms , sbi otp sms seems to round it off to "paytm", game over for this route?
Now getting "one97 communications" on otp page and sms, shall that give 5%? Not rounded to "paytm" like before in otp sms...

Just for information, I have purchased flipkart voucher using flipkart coins and sbi cashback card. It was showing merchant name "QWIKCLIVER SOLUTION" and didn't receive any cashback for this transaction.

I have successfully referred this card to one person in February but didn't receive any cashback/ amazon voucher (500 Rs). It is showing status "application approved" in referral section. Already raised two tickets for this in sbi card app but all in vain. What could be better way to approach customer care in this case ?

Bill payment wont fetch anything no matter where you do it from. Such paymens are routed generally via BBPS or similar fronts. They will always be tagged as utilities. Dont take chances.
Any one recently tried with Ola Merchant Name - Ani Technology , UBER & Rapido will it fetch 5 % i feel it comes again under travel catagory any one share your experience.
