Guys , I took SBI simply click card 3 months back, Now when I try to apply for cashback card, application is rejected stating internal policies.

Anything else I can do here or just have wait another 6 months ?

SBI has a policy that in a lifetime you can hold maximum 3 cards of SBI. In case you got earlier ones closed, you won't get a new one if crossed the threshold of 3. If that is the case in your case, then apply with some other bank.

Ah this is interesting thing to know hmm didnt known this lifetime thingy:) heard of 3 cards limit but lifetime thing is new for me

So one can't ever get 4 cards in SBI then? any grey area? anyone ever got 4 cards in SBI

It all depends on various things, if you made genuine spends for a few months of getting simplyclick/save,

Your chances of getting cb card approved, goes up.

But you should direct most of your spends into your card. And try again before your card anniversary comes up.
