SBI CC payment isn't always instant?

Paid SBI CC via paytm wallet shows succesful, but no instant sms or entry seen in sbi card app... never seen like this...
Does acknowledgement or unbilled payment entry come later too? Or is something wrong?

if you made payment on last date, be ready to pay late payment charges.
yes from other platforms, it isn't instant.
yesterday someone posted same concern with late payment charges for axis CC
