SBI Charged 200+36 for increasing the credit limit on my Simplyclick credit card

I have requested them to increase the card limit after entering the necessary details and uploading documents in the my account section of SBI card website.
just now spoke with sbi card customer care and they introduced this charge from sep 2020 and if the customer request for increase in credit limit from his end then they will charge an amount of 200+gst for every successful increase.

Network Change Fee: Rs 200
Cheque Payment Fee: Rs 100

For simply click they charged and for Ola money SBI they havent

So will the reverse be true if we request to decrease credit limit manually from our side then they will pay us for it?
Rs. 100 for cheque payment??? Since when credit card companies started charging for cheque payment?
Voucher Redemption on simply click card is also charged?
Nope, not yet.
In future they may start
Call the cc and ask them to permanently block the card, cut the card into pieces and throw them away as soon as it is blocked

July 2021 SBI card statement – mentioned under ‘Important messages’ :
W.e.f. 01 Sep 2021, the fee of Rs. 200 levied on any new request related to increase of credit limit or for changing the network on your SBI Credit Card will not be applicable.
yes they charge, if you request for manually credit limit enhancement
and if they increase credit limit automatic then there is no charge
