1700 RP debited, anyone able to fetch reason?

is it same all the other SBI credit cards ?? if we use for instant discount that transaction will not be eligible for the rewards points

If you redeem for 500 Rs Amazon GV i.e 2500 point

They will deduct 625 rs from statement for 500 rs Amazon gv

Its because you all done transaction on amazon or flipkart where you got some 10% approx instant discount. On that also you reward points.

So as per SBI Card Policy, only 1 thing you'll get. So discount is applied it cannot be added back, in this case rewards points earned on that particular transaction are debited back. If you don't have sufficient points, then it will charged onto your card in the same proportion. 1 point is equal to 20 paisa.

From where can I redeem points for agv? Don't see option for same under redeem in app... I have simplysave rupay card

the only thing is matter, you make a transaction between a running offer period

EX-  if offer is 10% discount max 1500 & minimum txn value is 5000 to availe the benefits

1) You make 3 txn of 4000 each (they ll deduct reward point for this txn even you didnt get discount)

2) make a txn of 15000 with discount it becomes 13500 (they ll deduct reward point for this txn because you get discount)

3) make a txn of 13500(with discount got offer,  max discount value exhaust)

Then you make a txn of 85000

(They ll revers/deduct the points for total 98500)"

For Co branded card holders its worse cause after every statment cycle they transfer the points to the respective account and after 3 4 5months when they revers there is no points and they deduct balance

What they do is fair as per their policy for all cards except ola money SBI, for ola money SBI they giving cashback in ola money app and charging here which is not fair at all. They should reduce from there only.

I also got the same debit. I had not redeemed any points.

I understand that either one can be credited.

The customer care told me they added points but as i had used my points they put the charge on me. I told them its ok but can you tell me where i used the points and he had no answer and said they got expired. I asked him how come 1-2 month old RP get expired? The he again said u used them somewhere.

Now i have escalted to nodal officer n he also gave same reply without details where i used.

So i re escalted to senior nodal officer. Waiting for there reply now.

This is not done. If they don't reverse it won't be using card in sale. Would even close the dishonest card.
