SBI offer reduced rates on new home loans to 8.50%
Effective from 17 May, SBI has announced 45 bps concession over the effective home loan rates to new borrowers
The interest rate for a new home loan with credit score of 750+ is 8.70%
For refinancing loans, additional concession of 20 bps is there
Effective rate for refinancing the home loan with a credit score of 750+ is 8.50%
Concessional rates available till 30 June

What about existing users?
There is a way to reduce loan interest rate by paying 0.5% or 1% of the loan amount by contacting RACPC. There is a same for this process but not able to recall. Has anyone done it recently?

i have take new home loan in sbi in march 2023 with roi 8.95% my cibil score 770. till now intrest is not reduced.
Will this be applicable if we transfer the home loan too?
I have a loan with Icici for a plot (not sure if plot loans are higher than for homes) but at 9.5% currently.
